As a user of suppression files provided by the Telephone Preference Service, I am writing to inform you that we can also provide suppression files for outgoing call screening. We have many subscribers on our opt-out lists which we are making available to you FREE.
You may be wondering, who are The Call Prevention Registry?
We are the UK’s fastest growing data procurement company . Established in 2005 and with a call centre in the heart of Swansea, we are committed to providing our members with a premium service which helps prevent nuisance calls. We have vast experience within the data source industry and our team is able to provide your organisation with the latest data which you can use to screen outbound calls
Funded entirely by our members, we provide an additional data source to your current industry standard suppression files. You are probably already using data under licence from the TPS - for which they charge. Whilst we do not suggest you stop using your current sources, we do think that it is best practice to incorporate our data within your current systems so that you can screen outbound calls more effectively.
We enable you to maintain a comprehensive list of persons who do not wish to receive calls.
How do we capture our Data?
The Call Prevention Registry has a website which the general public can use to add their details. People who use our website are usually the ones who are being bombarded with sales calls from numerous companies. Many of our registered members have not registered with the TPS so you will not have their details from your current source.
Our data should be used to compliment your current sources.
We process the information captured via our website and pass this on to data houses in an easy to use format. Our website can be found using any search engine, in particular, any search made on Google for ‘stop nuisance calls’ will result in web users finding our site first.
So who has sanctioned our services?
We have had many mentions in the media.. Due to the ever increasing numbers of sales calls made to people at home, the media has picked up on this problem and highlighted the many ways in which the public can fight back. The Call Prevention Registry has been mentioned during a live debate on GMTV - highlighting nuisance calls - and our website was displayed on screen during the debate. As we have stated before, most of the press has carried information about our services and we are proud to have built a good reputation in the responsible use of the data which we capture.
We now need your help...
We kindly request that you download our data so that your systems can be updated with the latest files.
Why should I include the CPR data?
The data we have is unique to us. This means that the persons who register with us, are not registered elsewhere. Whilst it is not a legal requirement that you use our data, we feel that it is best practice to do so.
How much does it cost?Free. We charge the people who register with us.
How do I get the data?
Visit our website:
www.datahouses.com/register.html/Can we provide any other information?
We can provide address, postcode and telephone details for each of our registered members. This information can be provided by a request made in writing to our office.
We already use the TPS, why should we use CPR data aswell?
Our data is unique. You cannot get this data anywhere else, as our members have requested that we help them get their details removed from sales and call lists. Whereas we do not have the vast numbers that the TPS has, our data list is growing at an astonishing rate which makes it harder for you to disregard.
What format is the data in?
We can supply the data in many formats. By default, the data comes in the form of a flat text file for ease of importation into current systems. We can also provide the data in Excel, CSV, Rich Text, Access and many more formats. Please ask if you think that you need another format.
